Can you tell us a little about you?
I am 66 years old, I started taking pictures at the age of 13.
In 1979 I entered the cinema, theater, and television as chief lighting designer. I resigned in 2000 to devote myself to photography,
What does photography mean to you?
For me it's a moment that will go through time, when I take a photo, I don't take it for tomorrow, but for the years that will bring it to life
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
My style is mainly based on light, I'm talking about light made in the studio or outdoors and not light made with Photoshop of course
Where do you get inspiration from?
I don't know, let's say that some title phrases come to mind and here I build the photo with of course the appropriate model
Studio, on location or both?
I work in my studio, but sometimes in a natural setting
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I have the status of Author photographer. I have just released a photo book sold in all bookstores in France but which you can get on amazon. The book is "Remettre les pendules à l'heure"
What has been your most memorable session and why? I think it's the session or with the model, we had fun trying things and there, let's say by accident, came the most beautiful photo currently, the one I sell the most in the gallery Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Nikon D850 and 35 mm 1,4 Nikor What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? have patience, humility, to look twice before rushing.
